SYLLABUS

NOTEBOOK: Provided

This Driver's Education class will require the student to keep a notebook. In the notebook, the BTW (Behind the Wheel) drive sheets will need to be filled out prior to the drive. Answer any and all questions that pertain.

It is mandatory the Student brings the notebook on the drive as I will write comments, both positive and constructive, on the sheets.

CLASS ROOM WORK:

While in the classroom, students may be required to do reading and answering of questions at the end of a Chapter. Discussion on Chapters is highly encouraged and asking questions is greatly welcomed. Open discussion of your experiences and the experiences of others makes for great conversation and is a highly effective learning tool.

Test will be given following the Chapters studied. If you don’t pass with at least an 80% (20 out of 25) you will be required to OUTLINE the Chapter and turn it in the next day.

There will be PowerPoint presentations incorporated into our curriculum as well as videos when appropriate.

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE 42 HOURS OF CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION.  IF YOU MISS MORE THAN 3 DAYS YOU ARE DROPPED FROM THE CLASS.
